The Mauna was born of Wakea the Hawaiian creator of the Universe, as his first born son, in some of the many deep and time honored traditions.

Join us in protest against the breaking of international, environmental, and cultural resource laws at the Hawaii State Capitol: 415 S Beretania St, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on 10/7.

A simultaneous, island-wide/world-wide protest on 10/7 against the further desecration of a conservation district and sacred elder, the largest mountain in the entire world from its base, Mauna Kea, on the island of Hawaii.

The Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) = a Telescope that will be the tallest building (18 stories) on the island of Hawaiʻi. The TMT is breaking ground- the so-called blessing on October 7, 2014 on Sacred Crown Land’s of Mauna Kea. This will Destroy natural endangered specie’s habitats that can only be found on Mauna Kea. The telescope will stand as tall as the Aloha Stadium, 8 stories higher than the “Capitol.”

Join Kailana Kahawaluokalani Kepelino Moa-Eli in sacred reverence for the Mauna and simultaneously you will be sending your support to those who are standing physically on the mountain’s summit for the same cause of righteousness. Events are being scheduled across the globe for the same purpose. You are welcome to engage in sacred practice and protest.
