It appears a mandated “cooling off” period hasn’t changed the minds of anti TMT protesters, who intend to block construction crews travelling to the future site of the Thirty Meter Telescope.  Construction crews are going to the summit to inspect equipment and to erect fencing. Protest spokesman Kahookahi Kanuha says he “will try my best not to get arrested–but there are two options.  You stand and resist, or you move to the side and allow desecration.”  Apparently, there will be some arrests when Kanuha and his group press their demands.  Let’s hope cool heads prevail.  TMT officials say they will allow protesters and Hawaiian cultural practitioners to continue their peaceful…
